What are some of the must have applications and hardware items. I will most likely be getting mine around the middle of January and would like to know what all I should be looking at getting for it. Some people suggest getting a Screen cover such as invisishield and some say it isnt worth it. Some people also suggest getting a hard cover and others say its a waste. What are yalls suggestions.

Best Stereo Bluetooth Headset?
Cases?
Screen Covers?
Must Have Applications?

if I had BB Storm I would like to find some must have iphone killer applications so i can shoot down iphones 🙂

Is that basically just a clear rubber coating for the whole phone? It's hard to tell from the pictures.

It's pieces that cover a good portion of the phone. So you'll have one for the screen, the back plate, the top and bottom and sides, etc. Takes careful application but the results are good and maintains that glossy look too if done right. I don't use a case so can't recommend one.

I'm, shopping around for a bluetooth headset as well and I've narrowed my choice between the Jawbone, the BlueAnt or one of the Plantronics. Not sure yet.

Well would that skin get in the way of using the screen for typing etc? Otherwise it sounds like a good idea. Im looking into the Motorola bluetooth stereo headset that wraps around the back of your head. It's the only bluetooth 2.0 device I can find.

You have to get the BB desktop stand for it. Use it to watch movies and have one by the bed as the bedside mode with the flip clock is awesome. It also dims the screen to next to nothing at night so you can see it but it doesn't keep you awake by filling the room with light.

that sounds awesome. Since I normally use my phone now as my alarm clock that sounds like it would be an awesome addition to have. I cant wait till payday!!!

Those keybards on crackberry look sweet. If I am reading it right it is a bluetooth keyboard that works with your blackberry. Are there any keyboards like that for all cell phones capable of bluetooth?

I have one, it works with WinMo and BB. You just flick a switch. The Device has to have a driver loaded and you're good to go. It has shortcuts for the BB functions like mail, etc, too.

As many of you can tell this will be my first blackberry and will be replacing my motorola krazr k1m which is a piece of crap. Whats a good place to find games for the blackberry?

the blackberry is getting better and better with each update, but it still has lots of problems. i've used it plenty of times, i think the click screen is fantastic and its very easy for me to type with.

i've been reading crackberry.com forums lately... and it seems the storm is still buggy and needs time to mature. the OS still needs work, users complain about memory leaks which make the phone slow (you need to do a hard reset every day to clear the memory, which entails pulling the battery), and of course that battery life is very YMMV. many are on their 3rd or 4th phones already because of one problem or another (screen color defects, shoddy construction, click screen is malfunctioning).

i'd wait for a 2nd gen storm... it'll be like waiting for a 2nd gen iphone

what is this click issue that everyone talks about? seems like on the blackberry forums and the crackberry forums they all replace there phones because of the issue but never explain what it is
