Blackberry Pearl 8100 question

I googled the shit out of this and found no definite answer. I have an 8100 on T-Mobile and would like to get ringtones playing thru my headset. It looks like it might be possible with an OS update, not sure though. My headset definitly supports it because on my cheap ass Nokia it would play my ringtones thru my headset when people called. Not sure which OS version my phone is, but I'm looking for a newer version on Google right now.
