I miss that phone.
-Typing almost as fast a true keyboard. That was a novel keyboard. About the size of T9, but full featured. I knew people that were friggin fast on that thing.
It also gained speed as it learned your words and habits.
-Early BB battery life before high resolution screens, OS and high speed processors. That little battery would get me 2-3 days, easily. GSM versions lasted a little longer.
-I miss the whole leather sleeve/slip thing. Great pocket phone.

I know others hated it, it probably felt gimped next to a Curve.

I will miss you BB, you actually led and innovated at one time.

I pretty much hated all Blackberry devices.

OK, that's not true. While I hated most, I only disliked some of them.

I'm not a crazy texter or emailer, so physical keys never appealed to me. Give me an all touch phone with the real web please.

I never liked that keyboard, Curve/Bold>pearl

This

But the Bold was great since it was larger than the Curve and had more space.

I remember how fast we though we were when we had phones before real keyboards, pressing the numerical button three times to get the letters you wanted.

I miss my Bold 9000. That bastard took obscene drops without a shudder.

Dropped from 14' onto concrete, 10' onto concrete, plenty of other drops onto pavement when getting out of the car... that thing was a tank. No case, either.

I cringe thinking what would happen to my current HTC One or even my previous iphone 5 under those circumstances.

my all time fave is still the pearl. i could easily type 1 hand without looking at the kb. it is frickin amazing how well thought the kb was. 1 day while biking i accidentally left it on the trunk of the car and that was the end of that....

I had a Bold and was pretty indifferent. I traded it after a couple of months. Loved the keyboard and general build but otherwise not a huge fan. But I'm just an average Joe, not an email machine. Traded for a Pre if memory serves. (Still one of my all time favorite phones, wish the OS survived.) My wife had a Curve and swore buy it. Said she wouldn't have anything else other than a BB. Bought her an iPhone 4 for her birthday and after a weekend with it she was done with BB.

I liked the Bold/Curve better. Although even then the keys were still too small for me.
