Blackberry Bluetooth trouble

My dad recently got a Blackberry Pearl handset. I tried transferring the images, videos and stuff from our old phone (Samsung E250), and I could not connect via bluetooth. The pairing took place, but I could not get beyond that.
Please Help!

Yeah, I've never got a Samsung to send anything with any success to a BlackBerry. <shrug> I'd love to help further, but in reality the best way would be to extract that stuff from the Sammy with USB and upload to the BB in the same way.

its not just Samsung that's troubling me...I've also got a Nokia(dont remember the model no.) and that too gives trouble. When I try to access these phones through the BB, the only option I've got is to transfer the address book. Nothing else. Moreover, I haven't got a USB for Nokia.

i've never had any luck sending files to my dad's blackberry. for a so called "business phone" its options for sending and receiving contacts are severely limited 🙁 my 5 year old k750i has more options.

BlueTooth is notoriously insecure. BlackBerrys are very secure and need to be, hence you have certain restrictions.
