So a user called me just now and said that ever since they dropped their device in the toilet and left it out to dry....that it had been working funky. We got deeper into the conversation and she dropped it in the damn toilet at the State Fair of Texas......

THEN SHE PICKED IT OUT OF THE TOILET....

Disgusting as shit and I have touched the f'in thing since then.


My question - would you have picked it back out of the toilet at the State Fair of Texas?

Instead, I would have burst out of the enclosure and flapped my arms spasmodically while running around in dramatically erratic circles, stopping only to emit high pitched squeals and gurgles of girly regret.

Then I would have gone home and had a good cry.

In other words, yes.

I'd man up, avert my head, and reach in and retrieve that sucker, then wash as thoroughly and obsessively as time and circumstance allowed. After, I would speak of said incident to no one, ever . . . until the first drunken party, at which time I'd tell the entire story in all its disgusting detail, exaggerating wildly for comic effect while substituting you, StarsFan4Life, as the victim. 😉


 
i picked my treo out of a urinal once.....dryed it off on my jeans and put it back in my pocket.........was piss drunk however

Bacteria can be killed pretty easily. Don't lick your fingers clean, and wash off the Blackberry and your hands. You'll be fine.


 
As long as it didn't fall into liquid feces, I don't see the issue. You get more germs grabbing a handful of holiday caramel popcorn then picking a phone out of a toilet.
 
No, judging from what I see from a fair at my city...I'd just tell insurance I dropped it down a storm drain.
 
People are dense. Pick the phone up, put it in the sink, rinse it thoroughly and wash your hands. Listening to some people in here, you wonder how they ever manage the courage to wipe their own ass, Hell they might get shit on their hands....
