If you go to T-Mobiles website it shows you the available service plans for individuals.

You can choose to use a blackberry as a data only device though. If you were going to do this i would recommend getting the 7230 for 20 bucks. That is a steal and it has a full QUERTY keyboard. I think you can get an unlimited data only plan for like 29.99 per month.

let me get this straight. I have a contract with verizon that i cant get out of until the fall. I can get a 7230 and use it for email and web for $20 + a 30/month contract then upgrade to voice when my contract is up?

Yes thats right.. just give shannon a call and she can fill you in on the details.. On a side note when your contract is up with Verizon you can have them port your current number to the blackberry.

I currently have a great plan with T-Mobile - $39.99 with 1000 anytime and U/L NW - Can I add this for a second line or even just for data??

Thanks for the info!!

I am on that plan as well.. you may want to send shannon an email (or call her) to ask her how that would work as far as getting a blackberry is concerned..

man nice deal...

i already am a tmobile customer with just a cell phone. i'm NOT on contract. ended a year ago...

i'm wondering would i be able to take advantage of this deal?

the other thing is, my company could hook me up with a Blackberry but i wouldn't find out until May, after this deal would be over.

Okay, so I am with Verizon right now, but would like to just use the blackberry for data and not use for voice how much would it cost? 1 year agreement of course. Probably would get the best one I could get (7230?)....

Would it just be $20/month?

Edit:
Actually, I think I like the look of the 7100 better.... more like a Treo. I just think the other ones look awkward. No?

I believe that if you just want it to be used as a data device the cost is 30/month.. if you want it sign up for data and voice the fee for data is 20/month.

well you may be able to get some sort of a deal since you would be adding a data connection.. just call shannon.

No deal if you have the $39.99 plan as I do - To add another line or family plan, you basically lose minutes and pay more....oh well!!

wow this deal is sweet!

*EDIT*

i just called ur friend Shannon, never spoken to a nicer rep.

i got me a 7230 with the data plan! scha-WING!

Yeah that 7230 for 20 bucks is so cheap that some people are just picking them up as data only devices since the cost for data only is only 30 per month.
