(enter hard core british accent, but not the queen's English, rather the rebellious English suburban English ttick ales Londoners whince in disgust).........

Well done, Ed. With your spanners and such you were able to smarten it up a tick. Crack on, then!

I friggin LOVE wheeler dealers. I'm about ready to take the cars.com hair chick off my ringtone and put the wheeler dealers theme song on.

Love that show, I watch it every week (minus reruns) and it makes me want to go out and buy a cheap car to fix and flip. But then I remember I don't have a workshop and that makes me sad.

🙁

Spent the better part of 7-8hours blocking out the first coat of primer and finishing all the body work and disassembling the car getting it ready for paint!

All blocked out

Drove the car around for about 5 weeks and it finally sold for $3850 made a profit of a bit under 2k. a win 😀 sorry the final update took so long guys!

About 45-50 I paid myself for the work in the car along with the wheels you have to do a dollar value on the stuff you do and the stuff you have. Your time is worth something. This way I didn't sell the car at a loss. I may not have had money into it but I had value and I wanted to get paid for it. Worked out really nicely.

hell ya!

I dont work for free either!

Flipping is really an art. Finding the right cars is the hardest part really. You pass on alot of stuff. Rust is what always gets me.

Whoever got that car for 4k got a nice car. I really appreciate that you mentioned driving it for a while before letting it go. I do the same so there arent any surprises.

I wish you were close man. I would send u all of my cars.

Your not kidding you can buy one that runs great but needs body work. Or one that looks great that needs mechanical work. And it is a waiting game its been 3 months before I bought that lancer after the wagon sold. And I learned the drive them for a while first before selling the hard way I sold a Prius as an unknown and it blew up in my face small claims and all that jazz now I just transfer plates and drive them for a few weeks before I get the title.

Also I have been known to travel for good projects 😀 If its good Work I don't work cheap (ask jlee)
