I finished the game recently on normal, and I'd have to say the later levels can get insane at parts...but still, slowdown was very minimal, so I dont know where people are getting that it runs poorly.

One funny thing I read a while back was that the PS2 version looked better than the xbox version because of how it outputs video...well, thats what PSM said, which they got that info from criterion.

I'd recommend renting it, but not buying. no replay value.

I am stuck at 7% 🙁 At the Asylum. I cannot get past all those guards inside of it. Not having a manual save feature is incredibly annoying.

Take your time. Show face, hide, let them come to you and take them out. Even though it says 7% you are a lot farther than it seems. I think game completion is at 25% for each difficulty level. 4 difficulty modes x 25% = 100% completion.

There is a room that I guess looks like a shower(I can get past that) but there isnt a cut scene. The problem is that there is way too many people and I always die. I am at the part where you have to just run across one of the huge rooms to try and get out.

Oh, one of the pillar rooms where the shield troops and shotgunners rush you? Yeah, that's a bitch. Get on the top floor ASAP and grenade the bastards. IIRC there's about six grenade boxes, and I think two of them regenerate - even in Hard mode.

It's the best FPS I played on PS2 which isn't saying much since I don't hardly play FPS. Highly recommended if you haven't played a FPS in a while. I guess I wouldn't recommend it for any veteran FPS players since it's a quick game. Really nice to see a great looking FPS on PS2.
