i still don't get why everyone in the thread seems to think there is absolutely nothing wrong with saying asians are shorter or asian men have smaller penises and yet is highly offensive to even imply that black people are not as intelligent.

why is it generalizations only against black people are offensive?

He is right. Read the thread I posted earlier. A lady had to fight to get her black child an IQ test. They had been done away with during the civil right era.

This is a perfect example of how dangerous the politically correct movement really is....attack someone and the facts when the truth does not support what you think it should. I have always said that if there was emphatic scientific proof of a difference in intelligence based on races that it would be attacked, labeled racially motivated, declared false and then buried somewhere along with Jimmy Hoffa.

Back in the day, some businesses used to give people IQ tests before hiring them. But that's rare nowadays, except in the millitary which still uses them. IQ tests invariably bring up the uncomfortable topic of racial IQ differences. So instead businesses like Microsoft and the big Wall Street investment banks give people brain teasers and riddles to solve during interviews. There's no paper trail there like there is with an IQ test, so you don't get accused of bias.

I've interacted with Asians and find them to be on average more capable of learning.

Also notice that this is not just a study from the 60s. Every study I have ever read on the subject comes to the same conclusion.

The children who went through the British educational system had average IQ's of like 100 or greater and this was only after one generation. I know Indians are not black but I think this is an interesting study. I don't think race has anything to do with intelligence. Oriental societies breed children to do like 8 hours of homework every day. They have horrendous social skills and athletic skills. Of course Orientals are going to have high IQ's. Black culture in America is overwhelmingly based around athletics and schoolwork isn't given as much credence. Africa is very underdeveloped to this day. I think people are trying to make something out of nothing.

Were they tested at the same age? Same test?

Also many of the things you mention are likely to contribute to the ability to reach potential. It won't change the average.

Interesting because many professors I know, mainly Indian and Caucasian have noticed that Asians in general are very bad at abstract thinking. They are not good at essays or creative writing and in general their coding is very structured but lacking independent thought. I personally just think this is due to their culture. But I would assume that you would think this is a genetic trait. Is the Asians lack of strength and athletic ability also a genetic trait?

It says IQ is half genetic. If genetics had anything to do with it wouldn't the scores of the children who were moved to Britain still be lower than that of the native population?
