The best idea -- next time buy one with no hole in the end!!
These two putters are the first and only ones I've bought since my initial putter, which I used exclusively since I bought it at the pro shop of my home course about 1965. It's not like I have a new putter every few months like a lot of guys. I didn't know there was a hole in the end. The listing said the grip was in "rough shape" but the picture looked good to me. If I'd looked closer I might have noticed there was black electrician's tape around the last inch of the grip, but I didn't see that until I had a look at the actual item. I peeled off the tape and there was the hole. A very odd thing.

I may see how I do trying to repair it with Plasti Dip because I'm not confident in my ability to correctly replace the grip myself. I replaced the grip on one of my woods a few months ago and it's twisted. Not a biggie because the cross section is circular everywhere, but this grip isn't like that at all. It has to go on just so.

No, I'm not going to bring it to a shop! I'm a very DIY guy, in general. I'm not crazy, though.

Well, I ordered that putter grip on July 4, and still haven't received it. Emailed the company yesterday, no reply. Called and left a message today, no return call. Just checked my CC, they never charged me. Their website indicates my order number, but the status of the order is unclear.

I have what I figure I need to patch with Plasti Dip. Figure I will, what the hell.

Well, did get a call back from premiergolf.com saying the grip had to be ordered (i.e. backorder) and they expect to ship it to me in ~3 days. That will be 3+ weeks after I ordered it and they never informed me. Well, it's coming. I still may just patch the end and keep the grip for whenever. Hopefully it's the exact OEM grip, but it won't surprise me a bit if it is NOT!
