Black screen when playing games.

OK, well every time I try to play a game, any game, my monitor just goes black and I can see the power LED slowly flashing. I've tried to Alt-Tab, Ctrl-Alt-Delete, F10, Alt-F4 but the only way I can get out of it is by restarting my computer. I'm running a 2900PRO with the latest drivers (7.12) and Vista 64-Bit. Do you know what the problem is?
