Black screen but the video card and monitor work

On one of my computers all I get is a black screen. I've tried two video cards and two monitors but no go. The video cards fans and lights work. It's AGP. Can I do anything?

Possibly ram. Try one stick at a time and try to boot. Can you post your specs?

It could also be your bios settings if you have onboard video on your motherboard.

If the settings are set for an onboard video solution, you will not receive a signal from the video card you put in.

How can I see if it's the bios if I can't get a screen?


It wasn't the ram.
