Black or White Xbox 360 wireless controllers: $29.99 shipped at Newegg

I ordered one when saw the add from newegg. Been considering buying a refurb for $26, but really wanted a new controller. Pretty good deal IMO, as the price of those controllers is always stable at $40.

Any recommendations on games (other than Halo 3) that are playable by more than two players on the same console? I have two controllers already, but I wouldn't mind more people.

Call of Duty split screen can be fun. If you're into sports games, hockey, basketball, and soccer can work out well. Other than that, maybe some trivia or party games, like Trivial Pursuit or some of the Scene It games. Whatever your buddies are down for, I guess. Find out what they're into.

You can play Spec-Ops on MW2 split screen (2 people). I don't know if World at War's co-op can be played split screen...I'd think so but I'm not sure. Marve: Ultimate Alliance and Ultimate Alliance 2 can be co-op'd on the same console.

There aren't alot of split screen games out.

Borderlands is fairly good on split screen. I am currently playing through with my stepson. Keep in mind the game has some spicy language (and violence) if you plan to play with a youngster.

Yes but they are dying faster, will another receiver-dongle work with it?
Maybe is better buy controller and dongle, or wired one even better ?

Another dongle won't work. I'm currently using wired controllers as my wireless ones are starting to flake out due to age and heavy use, and it's a little annoying but useable. The cables are pretty long.

I already have two controllers - curious to see what's out there for more than two people (i.e. Halo 3 can run four players split screen), and if there's something good I might pick up a third/fourth controller.

AFAIK there's no other shooter that allows split screen multiplayer while also on LIVE. There are of course sports games that let you have 4 people play at once. This would be better answered in console gaming though.

No need for Live - just for playing at home. I might look over there..thanks!
