haven't played this game in so long. I think i wasted my money XD

Well I can say that I feel the map pack is well worth it. The new MP maps imo, are well designed and very fun. The new gun, "peacekeeper" is like a perfect blend of SMG/AR. I'm loving the gun.

Thus, I think if you get the map pack and start playing again, you'll enjoy it.

Of course, if you suck at the game, no amount of updates/new content will make you want to play more.

I disagree to a point. I used to suck bad back on MW2 but I still had a lot of fun because of new maps. Now if I wasnt playing with friends I dont think I would have had fun.

I absolutely agree. This is the best CoD DLC ever, hands down. I got my Diamond Peacekeeper the day it came out, and I haven't played a CoD like that since CoD4, which was the last one that wasn't overrun by hackers/laggers/etc. in short order.

I just logged on for the very first time tonight to try to play a game. I got freaking put on a 5 min probation already! WHAT THE FUCK!

The latest update seems to have caused a glitch in the probation system where it is now randomly putting people on probation for no reason. I read about it somewhere recently, so I am sure that is what your problem is. Sucks for you man, it happened to one of the girls we play with yesterday but hopefully they will get it cleaned up on a new update soon.

Edit: Played this game for the first time in 2 months and when i got on XBL i noticed my lvl said 1 but when i last played i was a Prestige 2 Lvl 27. Has anybody else had this problem

That's weird. I play this game pretty infrequently (in comparison to MW3 which I still play a lot of), and I haven't had that problem.

The game has improved a bit, but the recent nerf to some of the SMGs make them fairly useless. When I play, I use the FAL or AN-94 and pick off all the SMG players at middle to long range.

Does anyone have any tips on using the dragonfire scorestreak? I'm trying to complete the challenge of dragonfire kills to unlock the calling card but seem to be having trouble with the last tier of the challenge.

I mainly play HC KC and lately, every time I get the dragonfire scorestreak I may get lucky and kill one player with it. The other times I'm pretty much destroyed within 15 seconds. It seems that when I finally do find enemies, I'm being blown out of the sky already.

I do notice that I am having trouble aiming w/ the DF. I always feel like I have crosshairs in the center of the red outline yet the players don't die. I guess aiming w/ the DF just takes some time to get used to it. Other than that though, is it best to fly high above everything or to fly low in between buildings/corridors?

for the dragonfire i was going to say "don't use it" but since you are doing challeges, I would say just stay low to the ground. If you're high up you're a much easier target.

haha, yeah I won't be using it after I get this damn challenge done. I'll try getting the dragonfire lower to the ground next time.

I missed this release (which is sad because I was looking forward to it, just got caught up in moving across the country, finding a new job, and getting settled) and have been thinking about picking this up. I guess there are map packs out now I would probably need as well.

So far there is 1 map pack (called Revolution) which actually makes the game much more enjoyable as far as maps go. It also includes a new gun which is a very nice gun.

I really enjoy this game, but then again, I've enjoyed them all really and don't get all the hate that people show when a new COD comes out. The single player campaign is pretty fun too.

People are going to hate things that are popular. The "hate xxx because it is popular" bandwagon always has more seats.

I've enjoyed most CoD games with 3 and 5 being the exceptions. I might pick this up with map pack if it isn't still $60.

I talked to Activision and they said my stats were corrupted on there server but they said they will try to recover them but its not guaranteed which is really frustrating

So now i have to start all the way over. Was a Prestige 3 Level 27 1.17 K/D

But after all that playing, in theory, you should be better right? You don't have to have that "bad" playing time of learning the maps and the nuances of a new game. You can go right in and will probably end up with a better kdr than before.

360 - it's always a pain in the ass to keep a party together and you're constantly getting kicked out of full lobbies. It's so difficult to find a good connection/host and when I do I would like to stick with it, but the game is retarded and kicks me. I'm quite honestly amazed at how clunky it is considering this is their 7th iteration or something like that.

See i didn't come into Black OPs II as a bad player as its exactly like MW3 & Black OPs in Terms of Gameplay so i don't agree

Not implying you're a bad player, just that in your recent games your probably performed better than in your first games while learning the maps. Now, that you know the maps, chances are you won't take as many deaths from not knowing certain areas are good for campers or blind spots and such. Your KDR should be better overall because you are already 100% used to the game.

K/D is almost the same XD as it went down from 1.36 when my friend played on my profile but still the fact was it took me all the way to Chritmas just to get to Prestige 3 and i prestiged most of my guns and now i'm back to square one because of activistions dumbass problems

That sucks man. Though your situation may just be an isolated incident. Not everyone's connection will be good, but I think for the majority of players, the game works w/o any real issues.
