1. More sleep
2. Put on a layer of concealer and foundation
3. Check the drug store, there are creams that can help this
4. Stop getting punched in the face.

I don't think sleep's totally to blame. I find that, even on the weekends when i get 10+ hours of sleep, i'll still get those bags. The problem with me is that i need to sleep early. No matter how many hours i get during the night, if i don't sleep early i'll look like crap.

PUT MORE LIGHTS IN YOUR DAMN ROOM!!! Arrrgh!

This is from personal experience, curiosity, and much observation:

The puffiness is most greatly affected by lack of sleep - less sleep, more puffy.

The color is most greatly affected by the amount of light in the room. If you are spending hours and hours looking at a computer monitor inside a freakin' batcave, then your eyes will get blackish. If your room doesn't seem dark to you, it may be because you are very used to it. Some people keep their houses very dim - even during the day - and they don't seem to notice how dim it really is.

Note: a 40-watt light bulb does not light a room - use at least 60-75 watts (or its equivalent in fluourescents)

Also, if you're spending a lot of time squinting, quit squinting and get some damn glasses! I squinted all the time until I was 16 just because I didn't want to admit that I needed glasses - until one day a teacher told me I should get glasses in front of the class (humiliating). Glasses help! (or get contacts - cause' they're nice too)

Also, you might not be getting enough liquids.. drink more water.

lol, someone said something about room brightness and 60-75 watts:) 75 watts of flourecent lighting should make your room bright as day:) i have a desklamp 15 watts, and ceiling light 25watts and my room is prettymuch the brightest in the house already:) probably equiv of nearly 200 watts of light just there.

adding more light is easy, just go to ikea or something, they have plenty of easy to install ceiling/wall lights i wonder how my room would be at 75 watts:)

not sure theres any validity to the light argument though, 1st time i've heard it mentioned.

Here's an interesting one, and it works. I wouldn't use it often, I don't know what the long term effects are, but you can take some preparation H and smear it underneath your eyes (make sure you don't get any in there!). It constricts the blood vessels, making them less poofy.

You better hope the user before you used seperate fingers when they applied it...
