I'm white. I really wish I had learned to game the system instead of studying electronics like a nerd. Maybe I should go Republican? Starting kissing butts and telling people they're awesome for calling themselves christians and doing everything Christ would dislike?

You are one self loathing individual.

Get some pride. I don't mean gay pride.

He should've sold troubled assets and bilked investors instead--then he'd never have to do jail time.

Curious to see what the racial profile will eventually be in successfully prosecuted COVID relief fraud cases (and punishments)--but right now it's way too early to tell.

A quick Google search of "eidl ppp fraud" brings a whole laundry list of DoJ charges and indictments awaiting trial or sentencing. From what I've gleaned, the smart strategy is to hire a big-ticket law firm and negotiate a quick guilty plea with reduced sentencing.

So where does race fit in? Some firms only work with clients they know and direct referrals. The best firms will know the prosecutors and judges--because they may have previously worked at the firm. So if you're not in the good old boys club, tough shit.

My wife's lawyer landlord, received quite a bit of covid relief funds, although my wife continued to pay her rent in the building which she is the sole tenant during the lockdown.

Why would pointing out race-based inequities in our legal system make anyone self-loathing?
Is he supposed to accept such corruption because he might benefit from it because of his skin color? IMO that would be self-loathing.
Or are you just calling him a 'race traitor' in coded terms? In which case, you would self-loathing IMO.

So in fairness, I need to point out that the individual in that article did more just take PPP funds and fire his employees to buy a Lambo. He falsified loan documents in order to receive a much larger PPP loan than his business qualified for. And then bought a Lambo. But the forged docs are why he got 9 years.

Interesting. I am pondering the logic. If the government tries to help people someone will steal that help depriving those who really need it. The result will be that nobody will vote for anybody who wants government to help. This also will mean those who need help won't get it. That leaves only to possibility of preventing such theft and the best way to do that? Wouldn't it be the death penalty for those who cheat or is that cruel and unusual punishment?

OK. So he didn't get 9 years "because he was black". The "amerikkka hates black people" narrative is so played out and stupid at this point that's it's embarrassing to bring it up.

I guess to prove your premise the blacks get equal treatment by the criminal justice system I have to assume this person will get jail for the same crime
Audit: Gov. Kim Reynolds improperly used COVID-19 funds for salaries (kcci.com)

While you are at it find me a white person who got 5+ years for accidently casting an improper vote. I know of several stories of white person voter fraud that just got probation

A little on the side of this thread's topic. I think I know the reason why Trump, a person who kept complaining about the national debt, wanted to pass a much bigger COVID relief fund. Due to the business that Trump's sons own is in the real estate industry, they obviously are landlords of rich people. Even though everyone got affected by COVID, the rich people did not get as affected as the poor did, thus Trump's sons may have been making losses in the hotel side of their enterprise, but were still making profit in their leasing business.

Trump knew if he had passed a much bigger COVID Relief Fund, his sons (and probably himself too somehow) would be gaining a huge amount of free money.

So in short, Trumps motive for wanting to have passed a much bigger COVID relief fund was nothing more than greed.

Yeah, it is embarrassing that you're so outraged about this that you want to silence any speech about actual bigotry in this country.

Those are two different things. And one of them is so wrong I cannot even debate it with you. I suspect you are brainwashed by Fox Propaganda like your 70 million brothers & sisters. Theres no reasoning with you people. You're beyond logic.

He's upset because the "narrative" is played out. Imagine people like me living it. Think we are just a little more tired?
