Okay I Just told my parent that if I sell my screen to someone for 200 that if they could buy me a new lcd monitor. I been doing some research on the 2005fpw the one I would like to buy cause I saw them at QUAKECON their a beaut. So Simple What Is Black Lighting Issue and how do you know if you have them????
 
Do you mean a backlighting issue? IIRC, it problem was that the backlighting wasn't even and made some uneven light\dark areas on the screen.
 
Turn off all the lights play a dark movie or something you will see light coming threw from the cornors. This issue got me 2 2005fpw's granted they never realy fixed the problem but i got another one out of it for free i think 2 hours on the phone with dell makes me due for it.

also when you get your screen make sure and cheak if you got the latest reviesed addition i forgot what they call it.
