I suppose that's fair - I haven't had a vehicle without a heated steering wheel or remote start for quite a while so I forget about the plebes.
🥺 lol. Yeah I just have a 2011 Civic (not even power seats bois). I live in Michigan so it's pretty cold in the winter; gloves are good here. When pumping gas is one time they come in handy for sure.

I like the "driving glove" style, but I don't really use them just for driving. Really they're just for general winter gloves, when not spending a lot of time outside, so just something to cover the hands. Don't need/want any big insulated gloves or anything.

Will look up those ARIS gloves Captante, thanks. LOL at the thread derailment. I actually want to get my mom a new pair of these type of gloves too; had gotten her a nice pair from Macy's several years ago but she could use new ones as well. Haven't seen anything that jumps out at me even when looking at the $100-200 range on Amazon. 😐

I've always bought used, can't justify the cost of new, so I have to do without any of these fancy things, and it's a price I'm ok with considering the money savings. Paid 14k for my truck, a new one these days is going to hit close to 80k when all is said and done assuming you actually do add those options. Lot of that stuff is subscription based now too so you have to pay per month. Such BS. Yeah I'm just going to live with a cold butt.

Yeah I am not a vehicle person at all; I just want the thing to be reliable and get me from point A to point B. I guess I have some preferences on looks, like I don't care much for hatchbacks, but I couldn't care less about fancy cars and what type of engine it has and all that stuff. My next car will be a used one because I just can't justify paying a new price and would rather save for a house than a car. Last I knew used prices were insane, so hopefully mine lasts a little longer still until they hopefully get somewhat normalized. As of now, still runs fine at 180k miles, no issues at all.

I don't like seat heaters. A hot ass isn't appealing. I never got around to it, but I wanted to try to disconnect the coils in the seat of my old truck, but leave the ones in the lower back. When my back's being an asshole, heat there feels good., It also saves energy. Heating the kidney area gives better overall results with less power consumption. Important for electric cars.

what are you talking about? the true joy in heated seats is trying to secretly heat your passenger's seat, especially in the summer, and just watch them slowly get uncomfortable, quietly, as they start to wonder if they have shit themselves.

it's glorious.

bit late to the party, but my advice is to .. well, go to a store.

Because either you are Human Type A, and pretty much gloves will fit you off the rack, or you are Human Type B and no gloves short of $400+ customs will fit you. I know because i am Human Type B.
