Black horizontal lines on screen

Hey, I have just replaced my GTX 670 with GTX 970 and I have a strange issue: black horizontal lines on screen, visible especially on dark backgrounds, it's looks like a refreshing issue.

What curious, it's visible only in games during gameplay itself - e.g, not in menus. I never has problems like that on 670.

My monitor is connected to the card by VGA-DVI adapter. Could this be the issue? If yes, why is it occurring only now?

OK, thanks for your help!

It turns out I'm just stupid. I've connected the card directly through DVI without an adapter and it works like a charm.
