I don't think the author accounted for a fifth digit in multithread.

No, I mean it's weird because Haswell is scoring lower than SB.

Stock results

Heck it's more compareable to Phenom II, Bulldozer, or C2Q than Sandy Bridge.

Look at single thread...

I wouldn't put too much faith into that chart just yet as I think it's relying on the user to input the clockspeeds from what little bit I read into the thread at guru3d (assuming that's where the chart came from). Submit result didn't even work for me from what I could tell, it didn't open a web site or anything. The thing I find odd about the benchmark is since your cpu doesn't support hyperthreading, shouldn't your multithread score and 4 thread score be for the most part identical (at least within margin of error)?

Another thing, just skimming through the thread again I saw several sub 5.0GHz results from previous versions of the bench with 4 thread and single thread scores that were obliterating my scores. So if that chart was was compiled using those versions you can just throw it out.

Hello, I'm the developer.
Guru3d has updated the download page too early, the info on there is false + the version that's available for download isn't the right one.
I know this sounds a little confusing, but you can find the real info and exe on the blackholetec.com site.
The digit is fixed, also the submit button, but for your problem moonbogg, idk why it even does that.

The scoretable you got there is from the beta version, that's why you're scoring so low. I got not enough results yet for a stock table for the final version.

I hope this isn't to confusing, it isn't meant to be like this...

Edit: techpowerup has the right information and download: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2261/black-hole-benchmark-4-2-final/

You know, it would be better if you could actually describe what your program is calculating and how it does it, what compiler you used to compile, etc. I don't see that anywhere on the website. If you used ICC and its MKL, results should automatically be suspect on any non-Intel system.

Ivy Bridge reporting in at 4.8ghz.

This is presumably the same version Balla used, not the new one.

The scores will be the same from the one at guru and the real one, only the submit button and the 5th digit from the multithreaded test is fixed in the official one.

23 posts before someone asks what exactly it benchmarks, so what exactly does it benchmark? I cannot find any documentation whatsoever. Seriously, isn't anyone else interested in this besides posting and comparing scores? Maybe it's the return of BOGOMIPS?
