Black Friday: So what did you buy today?

Not a damn thing. Bought everything I wanted 10 days ago and am finishing up pricematching by phone.

i bought a bus ticket...80c for one zone, two hours reusable 😀

oh and 25 Kg of gravel for $14 AUD.

nothing, Canada doesn't have this fantastic event... at least not on this day and not to the same degree.

you guys got me geeked about it though. the deals are shocking.

next year i might head stateside to a Fry's or Circuit City to see if i can score something good.

Nothing
I don't buy stuff just because today happens to be 'black' friday/saturday/sunday/monday/tuesday/wednesday/thursday.

I bought gas this morning. At lunch I'll probably buy food. Then I'll buy postage. I'm thinking about going to Borders to get some music w/ a gift certificate but since the local Borders is in the mall which is across the street from Best Buy and the area has really bad traffic control I may wait on that since it is going to be a total cluster in that area. I have to go in search of new glasses at some point but I'm dreading that as my preference in eyeglasses is not currently in fashion so they are hard to find and eyeglasses are a ripoff. So maybe I'll just stay here and neff instead.

I scored an Infocus 4805 for $500 after taxes, and a set top DVD recorder for ~$80 AR

Am considering going to OD & getting a Compaq 2000 for daughter & upgrading her notebook with it for Christmas.

My first BF outing, hit up staples only, as it's about 5 min from my house and easy rebates (according to what I hear) are the way to go:

5 Sheet Paper Shredder (Free after ER)
6-Outlet Surge Protector (Free after ER)
50pk Canon 4x6 Photo Paper Plus ($2.94)
Maxtor 200gb Hard Drive ($29.94 after ER)
16x DVD-RW Drive ($19.94 after ER)
Logitech Cordless Desktop MX3000 Laser ($59.94 after ER)
PNY 512mb USB 2.0 Flash Drive ($9.94 after ER)

Not to shabby if I say so myself 🙂
