and as you can see, Best Buy isn't on it

Target and Kohl's have also invoked the DCMA at some sites.

Let's just boycott them althogether on BF. Maybe if they see a significant drop off in their big ad day from usual, they'll realize that these forums are a good thing for their business and they should embrace us instead of treating us like enemies. We are their customers, and if we get treated poorly we'll just go elsewhere on BF. The customer is never always right by any means (in fact a lot of customers are dead wrong sometimes) but the biggest rule of selling anything is that you don't go out of your way to piss off anyone who might want to buy stuff from you. Between BB and the RIAA, it looks like a lot of people in the business world need to re-learn this lesson.

How are you going to do that?

I looked thru the BB ads (check out some random sigs around here), and there really isn't much they have this year. Same regular pricing, it seems. Well....if they don't want my business, then sucks for them! :)

BB won't be seeing me.

If there is something I want in the flyer I will take it to Circuit City for a pm.

There are some good deals but they aren't at most of the sites.

Nintendo Game Cube Zelda bundle : $79.44 at Walmart looks pretty sweet to me. Too bad I won't be able to take advantage of it because I know the hot deal hoards will get to them before I will.

You can also use my site which is in database form so that you can search for specific items. For example you can search for dvd player and see all the dvd players at all stores sorted however you want. You can also browse individual stores or by starting time. I don't have BB, Kohls or Target thanks to their lawyers, but those will be added back to the database on Wednesday.

I intend to buy the GC also. if you know somebody from the inside, maybe you can ask him to hold it for you but promise him you'll be there early.

On Circuit City's Xbox & PS2 bundles their deal topper for each is listed as "Free Starter Kit".
Anybody have any details on what specifically is in the "Starter Kit" ?

Trying to gauge the value of the Starter Kit.

( So far, I think the best deal I've seen is at Hollywood Video/Game Crazy store. They are throwing in 12 free game rentals with purchase of Xbox, PS2, or GC. Which, I think, is a $60+ value.)
