ADS ARE OFFICIALLY UP!!!

CompUSA's BF Ad | Best Buy.com -> Click "Weekly Deals" on the top left corner

Linked This link includes Best Buy rumors too, BB hasn't contacted me about anything yet. :) And if they do, remember, what I've listed is just pure speculation.

Most of the stores listed, I'll be adding more later tonight. If anyone has access to the Fry's Black Friday deals, please email me.

Got a Pocket/Palm PC? Check this thread to store these deals onto your Pocket/Palm PC for an easy shopping list. Much thanks to XxParrotxX for doing this. :)

I pre-bought my items, when can I price-match?
The whole point of pre-buying items is to avoid the holiday rush, but you must price-match when the sales are valid. So the time allotted for you to price-match varies from store to store, most stores are only offering 6am - Noon sales, so you must price-match the products during 6am - Noon for the discount. I remember last year, only the front page of the Best Buy ad was 6am - Noon, the rest of the ad was the whole week, so you could come in any day. It varies from store to store.

Will Best Buy be price-matching on Friday?
There are rumors going around that BestBuy will not be price-matching during the Black Friday sale. If I recall correctly, they said this the past two years and they've just been false promises. It's probably a your-milage-may-vary situation, your BestBuy might have their Customer Service desk open, while the BestBuy the next town over will have theirs closed. The most effective way to get your stuff price-matched and their station is closed is to start calling over management, start going up the food chain, hopefully far enough done the line, they'll cave in and price-match your stuff. It helps if there are other people who want to return/exchange/price-match items along with you.

What is Black Friday?
Black Friday is the day AFTER Thanksgiving. This is usually the day that kicks off Winter/Christmas sales, so most stores have their best deals today. Usually such great deals that people will camp out overnight to be sure to get whatever is on sale. Is it worth the $50 in savings? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's how much you value your time. It's one thing to wait to get the item, it's another thing to have to wait in line to actually purchase that item.

So, are these really what's on sale? How do I take advantage of this knowledge?
First off, the items posted to be on sale are just *cough*rumors. For legal purposes, they are just pure speculation *cough**cough* But don't be too surprised if you find out that the ad matches what is on this page With this information, avoid the holiday rush and waking up before 5am to get that certain item. Simply go to the store before Thanksgiving, buy the item, then on Black Friday (November 28th) go into the store and price-match (buy and rebuy) your item back for the new advertised price. Make sure you buy your item near Black Friday though, because some stores have policies where they will only match their own price 30 days after you bought the item. Not a huge deal now, but for future reference.

Is this all?
I don't have access to the ads themselves, so I don't know.

Are these real?
I don't have access to the ads themselves, so I don't know. But remember, it's pure speculation *cough**cough*

I have access to the Black Friday ads for a store mentioned or not-mentioned on your site!
If you know any information about Black Friday 2003 for any stores, I'm especially looking for Fry's Electronics Black Friday ad, please e-mail me. Thanks in advance!

Thanks alot for taking the time to set all this up. Do you happen to know whether those A/R prices at BB are MIR or Instant Rebates?

There might be a few Instant Rebates, but all that say A/R are usually MIR. :)

Oh yeah, the McCarthy Ranch Best Buy in Milpitas, California still has a ton of the Lite-On DVD Burners and the ATi Radeon 9600's. I got the last 9600SE, but I think the ATi 9600 they are referring to is the regular 9600.

The more, the merrier. Black Friday is what Hot Deals is all about and with BB getting on everyone's ass about their deals being posted, the more websites with the information up, the longer people have to view the sales.

It's not a trick, it's a legitamate way of the buyer not getting screwed over if they have recently bought a product.

Kingston 256MB DDR RAM $69.99 - 30IR - 20MIR - 20MIR = $-0.01 (SKU 2022-0510) jimmywalt states he called OM and it is 2100
That looks pretty good atleast for those of us still running old boards.

Whoa, that's smokin'! Especially since many of those retail-branded packages, labeled "PC2100 DDR", are in fact PC2700 chips. Even so, at that price, I might not mind cranking down my FSB slightly, adjusting the multiplier upwards, and it would still be faster, overall, with more RAM. Right now my 256MB is rather constrained.
