I picked up an XBone with single controller and kinect that came with forza.($429 at hastings with a $100 GC)
Additional purchases:
extra controller
year of XBLive
Titanfall Bundle
Battlefield 4
Destiny
Thief
Tales from the Borderlands volume 1
Peggle 2 (for my 7 yr old)
Still plan on picking up AC unity.

FYI check ebay or craigslist for the digital codes for AC Unity and Black Flag that came bundled with XB1s. The market price for them is being pushed way down from people who bought bundles on Black Friday. Probably going to end up redeeming my codes since the value is so low now.

I bought mostly movies and PC games, but I did buy a few console-oriented things as gifts. I took advantage of Best Buy offering steeper discounts to Gamers Club Unlocked members and got Killer Instinct for $11 and Shadows of Mordor for $20. I also picked up the latter for PC for the same price; that's the first time I've installed from a disc on a PC in probably... a decade! D: It may sound crazy, but when you think about it... how good of a deal is it when a 40GB download eats into the 300GB that Comcast gives me? I'm part of Comcast's test areas for their new overage billing, so if I go over 300GB, I pay $10 per 50GB. I pay about $60 for my Internet (so $60 for 300GB), which means that download represents $8 of the cost of my monthly bill.

So, that's a huge problem for me. Comcast has effectively killed my desire to get digital games anymore. I can't be buying 3 AAA titles a month and eating up half of my allotted bandwidth when I use the Internet for other things already. Installing Shadow of Mordor from five discs (ugh) saved me 33GB of downloading. I may be talking mostly about PCs, but console games aren't much smaller. Thankfully, retail games are still very much available. 😛

I remember I bought bf3 on disc for pc and it still had to download and install the game.

It may have said downloading but mine definitely installed off the disk.

Actually downloading the game is faster than using the disks for me. That's because of my 105Mbps connection most likely.

I picked up a Xbox One controller and Dragon Age Inquisition on yesterdays Amazon sales. The controller was only $25. 🙂

I saw it was on sale yesterday for $44 I should have purchased it but I haven't played my ps4 in a couple of weeks.

super mario 3d land. it's pretty cool. what's sad is i have a backlog of 3ds games. i have like 20 games and have only really played animal crossing lol.

Black Friday
PS4
GTA5 $48 (GCU)
Tomb Raider $16 (GCU)
Wii U
$50 Card for $42.50

Cyber Monday
Wii U
DK $40 (GCU)
Hyrule Warrios $24 (40% off and GCU)

Now, I am debating on buying a downloadable version of TLOU for the PS4 for around $20.

I've been looking. I don't want to spend more than $20.00 since I heard its not one of the better AC games.
