Black Friday 2025 (including Black Friday "Week") mega thread. Hopefully we can consolidate things here.

Rules

1) Each link must include plain text item name and price (at time of posting). Try to keep links updated if possible to account for price changes and OOS.
2) If deal is country specific please say so in plain text.

I''ll get things started:

1) SK Hynix P41 2TB (Newegg) $149

SOLD OUT

2) Gigabyte B550M K MATX Motherboard $69

Price increase - no longer makes sense

3) Asrock B550M-ITX/AC $85

4) Samsung PRO PLUS SD Cards (128GB) $16.99

This isn't as specific as you want @burninatortech4 , but there are a lot of options available for this. Therefore, here goes....

1) MSI has some decently priced AMD platform motherboard/AMD processor combos for sale in the motherboard section of their US webstore:

The processors are AMD OEM (which normally have no warranty), but MSI states on their website that they will warranty the processors for a year if purchased in combination with a motherboard.

I just purchased an MSI MPG x670e Carbon Wifi for $379.99 and an OEM 9950X3D for $580 in a combo. The available processor options are as follows:

1763700644847.png

If you have a Paypal account with the "Paypal pay later" offer described in the following web link, you can use it at the MSI website to get 20% off the purchase price back in rewards points convertible back to cash (which for me is pending at $192 based upon my order, making that $580 9950X3D only $388 which is a fantastic price even for an OEM CPU). That offer works at both Newegg, Best Buy, and other stores as well, BTW.

2) Finally, there is also a separate Steam gift card offer available for purchase of certain MSI products. The amount varies between $10 and $100, depending on what MSI product(s) you purchase. Details are available at the following link:

I lost out on the gift card by purchasing the X670e motherboard (I need the additional PCIe slots/lanes more than I need the Thunderbolt ports on the X870e version of the board), but most won't have that restriction and thus could benefit from the Steam card.

EDIT: looking at the order, I just realized that MSI did not charge me sales tax. As a result, I'm ahead approximately another hundred dollars on this deal over what I had realized....

Some Lightroom and Lightroom/Photoshop deals at Newegg for BF that I had put in the normal Hot Deals forum, if you need to renew a subscription. I picked up the Lightroom one since it now includes Classic; I don't use PS, so got to save a few bucks.

For the media collectors out there, Gruv has some Blu-ray deals that may be worth jumping on:

Probably the main buckets of interest, with select titles available under each category:

1) 4k Blu-ray $10
2) 4k Blu-ray 3/$30
3) Blu-ray $10
4) Blu-ray 3/$20

dbrand is having their BF sale. You can get the steam deck Killswitch Ultra kit for $65. It also includes free playing cards. They also have many other deals. It was a little to pricey so I opted to buy the JSAUX mod case for $24 from amazon and their screen protectors for $8.

Steam Deck Killswitch Ultra Kit $65: https://dbrand.com/black-friday/killswitch/steam-deck-cases?design=teardown-mt

JSAUX (gaming accesories) is having their black friday sale. Not sure about shipping so also check amazon's pricing.

PayPal has a couple nice points back offers, so I'll link them here. One is a general offer for using their BNPL service. The other targets a few merchants when you use Perplexity AI's bot.

I guess I'll see if the PP / Perplexity thing works in about 14 days. The downside is that Newegg / Perplexity did the sale as as guest, which meant I had to pay sales tax. So even if everything works out, I only really get a 41.75% discount. But, that's still way better than full price.

Open box Wolfbox MF100 cordless air duster $43.99 after coupon.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/226908604413

Use coupon code CYBERWEEK20 at checkout to get 20% off and get the price down to $44.

These are pretty good and definitely beat using canned compressed air or an air compressor on electronics - they output 70CFM of air with an airspeed of about 200 miles/hr. The only difference between this and the more expensive MF200 is that the MF100 has a non-removable battery, the MF200 puts out about 11CFM of air more and blows about 13 miles/hr faster -- nothing that is worth the difference in price.

Here is a comparison review with Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, and other major tools by Youtube's Torque Test Channel. In short, the MF200 was rated highest, with the MF100 placing 3rd overall:

Yeah the guest order was a little annoying, but probably the only way they could have done it. Unfortunately promo codes can't work either.

If we don't get the full points in 14 days, I will return the order unopened. Strangely enough, in the streaming deals thread, it was mentioned that 7,000 points is worth $70. But the terms and conditions on Perplexity's page said maximum 50,000 points? (There is even a typo of 60,000).
I did take a photo of the payment page showing the 50% promo for PayPal.

Also strange, PayPal just emailed me and I assume it's to do with this transaction (the last time I used PayPal was Oct. 11).

Congrats, you earned 1 points!

Needless to say, I would never willingly use an AI bot to shop but here they want to pay us some of that juicy money from Nvidia. 🤷‍♂️ Kind of reminds me of 1999/2000 right before the dot com bomb.

I just logged into my PayPal account, and the points are already there now. As I anticipated, I even got points for sales tax paid.

My PP email is the same as my newegg email, so I think it could've be done without the whole guest thing. But we'll see how it works out.

It could end soon, but for Black Friday, Amazon Haul is running 50% off. Haul is like Amazon's copycat of TEMU. 🙄

99% of the junk is disposable crap, but strangely they have some "Brand Scores" as well. It's somewhat of an Easter egg hunt, and it really depends on what you can find that has utility to you.

1. Samsung SmartTag2 $8.25

2. Neutrogena face sunscreen $2.64

Also extra 5% off at $50, and 10% off at $75. But those discounts are calculated off the price BEFORE 50% off.
24 hours ago, they had some Hanes zip hoodies for about $5.
Free shipping at $25, but again that's pre-discount. So in reality you get free shipping at $12.50.

Central Computer has the 9800X3D processor for $399.99+shipping if you live outside California. It is an OEM tray processor, but they advertise a 3 year warranty on it.

They also have the 7800X3D tray processor, also advertised with 3 year warranty, for $339.99+shipping if you live outside California.

I don't think they don't charge sales tax if you live outside California. As a result, even with their overpriced shipping, these will both still be significantly cheaper than anywhere else you'd likely find it (with a 3 year warranty, anyway).

Cyber Monday mostly ended yesterday.

But PayPal's "Pay in 4" promo ends tonight. I was on the fence but decided to buy a $200 Amazon eGC off of Best Buy. I'll take the 20% back in free points (hopefully).

I'm surprised there are still any retailers that don't properly collect sales tax?

Warranty is unspecified, but 7800X3D tray CPU for $315:

Warranty information is in their FAQ link on the product page:

"Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes, most of our products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty details can be found on the product page or by contacting our support team."

It is advertised as a tray/OEM processor. AMD's manufacturer warranty on tray/OEM processors is 30 days.

Still, it is a good price for an X3D processor.
