I liked the price of a few things. Only shopped on Amazon. The Crucial P3 Plus 4tb m.2 for $300 and this 13.3” Lenovo Convertible Chromebook with an i3, 8gb of RAM for $300 as well. Gonna be a nice upgrade from my 2012 laptop which is definitely starting to show its age in many ways.

Got my parents a refurbished 1TB iPad Pro M1 12.9” for $1000. Dang, I almost wish I got myself one since the price has jumped (128gb is now $1000).

Was tempted on the LG Gram, but the reviews scared me off. Nobody is buying it considering the same deal has been in effect for awhile.

As said, they've already had a price reduction this month. Also, BF is almost always for discounting previous gen/replaced items to clear the shelves and make sales. It's always been that way.

Don't ever expect the newest stuff to go on great sales for BF, especially if they were only released like, 2 months before (like Zen 4). If you see limited ~5-10% deals on such bleeding edge stuff for BF, then consider yourself lucky.
On the Intel side, considering that Raptor Lake was recently released, it's a little weird we didn't see more discounts for Alder Lake parts. I would never expect bleeding deals on the latest and greatest though.

I did manage to buy one of the LG 55” B2 OLED TV’s from Lowe’s for $564 (2022 model, so fairly current.)

I have seen items at Amazon that were cheaper last Prime Day vs this BF pricing. Bought my wife a 5900X then for 335…cheaper than today. It’ll be her last cpu upgrade for few years. She’s got a WD SN850x coming next week…100 for 1tb. (BF Amazon special) She’ll never fill it.

Amazon also has the sk hynix 2tb p41 platinum nvme for $169. I'm using an Evo 970 plus m2 now and thinking of swapping my windows install to the p41 and using the 970 m2 as my games drive. Currently all my steam games just go on a regular SATA SSD.

Is this bot just woefully uninformed, or on a time delay? Ryzen 7000-series CPUs DO HAVE an iGPU, and 13th-Gen Intel (Raptor Lake) has been available @ Newegg for at least a couple of weeks.

What am I Missing here?
Need 65W CPU to do a direct replacement of motherboard & CPU, keep everything the same maybe, maybe not memory since it is 2660 speed DDR3? Keep case, PSU, SSD.

Decide to wait for the Intel i5 13600 or i7 13700 in January-February to buy!

What are you smoking? Your DDR3 isn't going to work with any platform newer than 5 years or so. You can buy those 13th gen chips now although they're not 65W CPU.

Exactly why I waiting for Intel to release the 65W CPUs.

I might just get an Intel i3 12100 and call it a day and reinstall my low profile 1050TI. These low wattage CPU are marked up on the Intel side. No hurry for me at all! I rather have the igpu 770 and not have a discrete graphics card so I be waiting for the i3 13100 to be available to buy in 1st quarter 2013..

You can get the 12th gen one now. I don't think there will be much performance difference.

Happy Black Friday!

Almost all of the GPU deals were the same price as weeks ago. The ASRock Phantom D 6800X suddenly selling out when it has been $515 after rebate for at least the last month, was the weirdest one.

True, not a whole lot of difference on 6700 XT prices, though I'm glad I waited for Thanksgiving since (1) most of the 6700 XT deals the last month have required mail in rebates and (2) I was glad to get one of the better coolers without having to spend extra.

The 6650 XT deals were pretty good though. They started creeping really close to 6600 prices, and 6650 XT is a pretty significant increase in performance over the 6600. Like 25% at 1440p.

Of course RTX prices remained crap. Nvidia is dead to me right now with their planned obsolescence though stingy VRAM sizes if you don't buy their highest end cards.

@SteveGrabowski

Not just the cooler, everything about the build quality and features of the Red Devil is usually as good as it gets. Maybe not so much with Polaris, but my Vega 56 was an absolute unit. 3 different bios, and excellent overclocker. Ran Vega 64 speeds while staying quiet.

@mikeford

I think it can go either way. Once sellers assess sales from this holiday weekend, that is what I think will dictate Xmas pricing. If sales are disappointing, and by disappointing, I mean worse than the market retraction predictions anticipated. Maybe some fire sales will ensue?

Begrudgingly, I think you are probably right. Seeing idiots pay way too close to retail for ragged out mining cards on Ebay is discouraging.

Nice, wow triple BIOS. Red Devil 6700 XT only has two: the regular BIOS and a silence BIOS. Since I'll be running it on a 450W psu probably won't do any overclocking until I get something bigger. Not a crap 450W though, it's an A Tier on the psu cultists tier list (Bitfenix Formula 450 Gold) and the gpu rail should probably be able to handle it at stock when the worst spikes Techpowerup found in gaming with 25ms sampling were around 230W with this specific card at stock and OCP doesn't get triggered until 411W on the vga +12V rail on the Formula 450.

What is the fastest gpu that will run with a 750 watt psu (want to upgrade my old old 1070 but system is an itx case with sf 750)....

I have decided to buy brand new - 2023 W65 CPUs. Decided to upgrade 2 of my computers! Buy one AMD 7600 while the other Intel i3 13100! AMD motherboards with PCIe 5 660-E will be coming down in cost and 700 series Intel chipset motherboards will be release too! Memory costs of fast DDR5 5600-6000 should be going down in cost too!

Good for you, I guess. Not sure what that has to do with BF, but okay...

Doubt many would notice PCIe 5 (given zero current pieces of hardware that can use it); nor would they notice much of a difference between a Zen 3, Zen 4, Alder Lake, or Raptor Lake, running DDRwhatever. People just buy what they need now - it's bad practice to try and count on prices falling much for the latest and greatest.
