I am just curious what you guys think we will see this year. I am going to get something this year almost certainly. I am debating between being cheap and going with a 32", but I really want either a 1080P LCD or a 50" 720P Plasma.

So, what will be the best we will see this year on...

32" LCD?
50" HD plasma?
42" HD plasma?
37" 1080P lcd?
42" 1080P lcd?
46-50" 1080P lcd?

32" LCD? Free
50" HD plasma? Free
42" HD plasma? Free
37" 1080P lcd? Free
42" 1080P lcd? Free
46-50" 1080P lcd? Free

I may be wrong, but at least I'll win the prize for being the most optimistic.

Bah, that's nothing. I'm hoping for a free Humvee from the local Chevy dealer :)

Seriously, though... I'm giving up on the Staples Black Friday sales this year. I'm sick of waiting three months to get my money back from their so called "EZ" rebates.

I usually look forward to Black Friday for my computer upgrades, but I'm still satisfied with my X2 3800+ that I got last Black Friday. I can't think of what I need right now except maybe a Klipsch Promedia 5.1 set (doubt that'd be on sale for cheap during Black Friday) and a new video card (high end cards aren't on sale either). I'm hoping a cheap deal on a 20" LCD widescreen though to pair up with my 2005fpw.

Yes, but Gottadeal already opened their Black Friday forums a week ago. I'm not going to argue with RossMAN... If he says it's time, it's time :)

Thats because we don't have a black friday sale. You're in CANADA, not the US of A.

Just wait for boxing day. ;)

I highly doubt that model will be at that price but we'll know soon when the BF ads are leaked and posted ;)

Exactly. I loved the year I picked up a Dreamcast from Best Buy for $50.
