that movie is going to be pure bad ass, there hasn't been a good blacksploitation flick in a long time, it's going to own. I'll be at to the theater to see it if it doesn't go straight to DVD.
if it's straight to dvd I'll add it to my Blackploitation collection. I wonder if Pam Grier is gonna have a part in it?

the plot according to it's web site

This is the story of 1970?s action legend Black Dynamite. When ?The Man? murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the beloved patriot House.

should be bloody as hell with lots of good kung fu action.

Saw the movie tonight, it's PURE WIN! It works on so many levels, a big fan of both spoof and blaxsploitation flicks, this movie's about perfect. So many great lines, Michael Jai White is fucking awesome in it. There won't be a better movie this year. it's at 85% or something on RT, I wonder who didn't love it. not a 10/10 imho, but I'd give it an easy 9.5. All that's missing is cameos from Pam Grier & Fred Williamson and a few others who were huge during the blaxsplotitation era. I'll be going back to watch it again with a friend.

The Kung Fu scenes were old school and bad ass, Michael Jai Whites perfect for this role. Was cool to see Arsenio Hall in it too, he's been out of the spotlight for years.

He's super cool, and he knows Kung Fu/he drives a 5,000 dollar car and wears a 100 dollar suit. BLACK DYNAMITE!

Roger Ebert says this about the movie...

The women are also dressed in period threads, and many have big Afros. I am happy to say it brings back an element sadly missing in recent movies, gratuitous nudity. Sexy women would "happen" to be topless in the 1970s movies for no better reason than that everyone agreed, including themselves, that their breasts were a genuine pleasure to regard -- the most beautiful naturally occurring shapes in nature, I believe. Now we see breasts only in serious films, for expressing reasons. There's been such a comeback for the strategically positioned bed sheet, you'd think we were back in the 1950s.

lol, Pam Griers titties would have made this the best movie ever *siiiigh* oh well.

Donuts don't wear alligator shoes.

Saw this last weekend, it was as bad-ass as you think it would be. The pool hall fight scene almost made me cry laughing.
