You know I thought about that also but then again it has a true 15" viewable area which is close to most 17" CRT's. I ordered one anyway and will let you know how it compares.

A 16" LCD would be closer to a 17" CRT, but then again this Dell LCD has a pretty crappy viewing angle anyway.

I got this one with the system deal back in nov. Pretty good monitor and the price is about what they were selling for on ebay.

Actually they are closer to $290 with shipping from what I looked at on eBay.
