At Target B&M, on clearance. This was just marked down when I was there. Was $59.00, now $14.90. Drill, battery, and charger. The other side of the plastic case has the tool set which consists of some screwdriver bits, hammer, tape measure, level, wrench, 2 pliers, utility knife, hardware, etc. It comes in a plastic case with a bright orange glossy cardboard cover. It can be spotted 2 blocks away, it is so bright. UPC 0 2890717713 7. Woman that was marking it down said she was one day ahead of time, and normally this clearance price would occur tomorrow, the markdown schedule varies by one day.

Oh man... I got in on the RTX-1 from Target last time - but I actually need a drill! What's Target's Pricing Guarantee policy? If I buy this even though it's not on sale, can I take it back tomorrow and get a refund for the difference?

Usually Target will do price adjustments....I've done it before. Although I did here that they have a new return policy, so you should check with your local store.

Anyone got a link to info on it? I know it may only be B&M, but do they list it on their site? (I couldn't find it) or maybe Sears or somewhere else? Just wanna know if this is a hot deal or if this will break after a few uses. 😛 -TAL

Hey Joony, I can confirm it, I just bought two of them! However, the time this goes to the $14.90 will vary depending on what store, what city, and what state. Target stores 5 minutes apart may have different clearance prices, and stores 1000 miles apart may have the same. You just never know. What is for sure is that at some point in time, almost every store will get to the same clearance price if they stay in stock.

Ringing up $41.90 "on clearance" here in Cleveland. Sesopedalian, are you sure you didn't transpose the numbers? They had about 20 in stock.

*waits patiently for carmann* 🙂
incidentally, he said the lady SAID she was A DAY EARLY. mr. Sesopedalian is giving people whats commonly known as a heads up. interesting that they dropped so fast though...

They will not identify if by the model of the drill itself, because it's in a pack. Here it is alone.

I don't know, SafetyDance, but I peeled the $14.90 sticker off, and underneath it did say $41.90. I was watching her re-price these, that's how I discovered the deal. If she made a mistake, I don't know, but she did say she was a day ahead in lowering the prices.

I checked the local Target here, they were marked down to $41.90 (I scanned it myself to be sure). I strongly believe that someone screwed up in the store/stores where people got the deal. I should be so lucky!

I'm here!

It's very possible that these will go tomorrow for some folks. It depends on when they did the 1st markdown (41.90). My stores just did them 2 weeks ago so it may not drop here. I'll check it out tomorrow as they didn't drop here today.

dsp, Target doesn't give price adjustments on clearance merchandise, only sale merchandise.

dtran, if you call them and the price is 14.90, do you really think you're gonna be able to get one? I don't think so after you've alerted the employees to the price.

Thanks for the heads up.

Had a brain cloud.

You would think I would remember their policies. I'm probably one of the biggest Targetholics on this forum. I work all around the Atlanta area and I stop at every Bullseye to scope out the clearance deals sometimes on a daily basis. Been doing that for about 10 years now, long before My Shopping gals made it tremendously popular. First name basis at my neighborhood store.

I did however get in a big fight with a CSR back in November right after their new policy went into effect. I was trying to return a non-seasonal clearance item and she tried to convice me that it applied to all clearance. I had to slowly read their policy brochure to her so that she could understand it.

<< Also if you buy a clearance item at say 30% off and then try to get a refund but the item is now 75% off then they will only give you back the 75% off price >>

WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!

This only applies to holiday and seasonal merchandise. It doesn't apply to any other clearance items.

location location location location location location location location

please also post the location of the store that you got the goods.... not all store have the same discount eventhough they are in the same corporation.

Looks like my Target hasn't dropped the price yet. It still has the old clearance price of $41.90. I'm crossing my fingers and trying again tomorrow. Store locations were Atlanta, GA & Smyrna, GA.

Gonna check out the Milltown NJ store for this one tomorrow morning. Will pass on the word if they have any.......

They are $41.90 here.. Do they really drop $30 in one day?

Target uses several price steps in marking things down on clearance, but if the price ends in a 4, such as $3.94 or $1.04, that price is their final mark-down.

I have 2 Targets, it's gone from$41 to 29 at one Target, still $41 at the other, will wait this one out to see which gets to $14 and still in stock.
