One week till my Black Belt test...im just waiting for my nerves to kick in. Hopefully all my hard work and practice will pay off... But wish me luck!😀
 
When the test begins, produce a handgun loaded with soft wax loads and shoot your combatant. This will instantly qualify you as Supreme Master 10th degree. Guns - the new martial art. 😛
 
Good luck! I watched my sister do her black-belt test for Tae-Kwon-Do and am very proud to say that she passed. Chin up and congratulations.

When the other guy is unarmed, and you went looking for trouble, then using guns is very cowardly. When I'm minding my own business and some freak attacks me, using a gun is perfectly acceptable. There is no duty, morally or ethically, to "play" on his terms when he is the aggressor (criminally speaking).

ok, say the aggressor is not physically aggressive, but sexually instead...and is mauling your mid region and so forth...

would u use your martial artisticismistry on him?...or "play" on his terms?..perhaps even in his terms.
 
It is true that you cannot rape the willing. But, unfortunately, I don't think we get to chose the rapist. Imagine the Jamie Fox character "Wanda" from In Living Color, backing you into a corner, grabbing and groping you, lips a'smacking. eww

I'm a first degree black belt. I went to USA Karate. I was going to get my second degree in weapons, but I had to focus on my school work.
 
I've always wanted to take up some form of martial art. Karate was never my style. I'm more interested in something more aggressive. How much are you guys paying for your classes (per month or per year)?

Mine runs about 75/month, that includes cardio classes if you want and various other stuff. My test coming up is in ryukyu kempo, done a few other styles too but I do like this one quite a bit.
