Black Antec Cases?!

Amazon is selling what they describe to be a black SLK2600 case.. if you look at the pictures, 1 is the normal bronze and 1 is black.

I see a reviewer got the bronze one. Where is amazon getting that black case picture?? I really want a black SLK3700.

That is AMG, in other words metalic silver, not black.

It doesn't come in black. It's a mistake on the site i think. Even read what the reviewer said on the site. He said everything pointed to it being black, but he received a bronze one. Seems like a listing error to me.

there amg cases are a metallic grey, and even their 'black" cases are not what most people precieve as the color black, they are a lighter

I think with Sonata we actually have what most people would say is a black case.

SLK2600 is not in Black. We'll let Amazon know about the error. BTW if we dont' have it on our site (ie black version or green version of what your looking) it's not a version we're selling. That pretty goes for colors of cases. On rare occassion we'll make a deal with a retailer (brick and mortar) to have a unique case/psu combo.

Somehow you guys missed the fact that they show a picture of a black SLK2600. I guess thats the metallic grey case, combined with the lighting that makes it look black?

It's true the Sonata is glossy black. One truly black case, out of over a dozen cases.

If the Lanboy were sold in matte black, with a bezel with no door, it'd be on the way to my house tomorrow. Same with the SLK3700. What is so difficult about making black cases, that Antec can only manage to make 1? Is it just that they think nobody except people in Sonata's target market (quiet pcs) want a black case?

Does anyone know what the power supply that comes with the SLK2700? Amazon does not seem to list it. Does that mean it does not come with one or is it the stock one that is listed on the ANtex site?

If you really want a (true) black SLK3700 and don't mind it without the door, check this out. It's the OEM version of the SLK3700. It's the exact same case with a different bezel, except it's not sold by Antec.

It's kind of like the Antec/Chieftec situation with the "SX10x0" series of cases, some other company makes them and they're rebadged. The guy at Coolcases used to refer to these as "Antec SLK3700 clones" until Antec threatened to sue him (scroll down to the news for Feb 27th, 2003 here to read about it).

Simply put we don't have the warehouse space (nor inclination from a financial point of view to get additional space) to have multiple color so the same case.
