Black and white photography that has partial color

im looking to decorate my condo and im in love with those photographs where they color in certain objects. Like a guy playing pool in B&W but the pool balls are all in color.

do these types of prints have a specific name? i found "hand colored photography" but its not really giving me what I want.

any info would be great.

well that seems to be the term, selective color, but i cant find any sites that sell them

I do duplicate layer + desaturate -100 + new layer mask. Then use the eraser to "erase" the part you want color in. You can also use a selection tool with the delete button.

i create a path around the object i want to retain the color. once path is closed around object, i go to path palette, make path into selection. feather by 3 - 5 pixels. invert selection. and then add my filters/desaturation to the inverted selection. never tried the layer mask method
