Black 9500 card

I just got a 9500np card from allstar, The site was showing the red one but they shipped me the black one. Do the black ones have the 8 pipes or only 4? I emailed them and they said it could be returned for a full refund. So am I better off to send it back and spend the extra money for the 9500 pro. One of my buddys keeps telling me I can make the 9500np into a 9500 pro, but I thought I read some where the black ones only have 4 pipes. Thanks to anybody that can clear this up for me. 😕
