I got the Backporch Griller with the bacon and chedder cheese. I thought it was pretty damn good. At the airport Burger King too!
 
the grillers are gross, the chicken whopper is like eating tasteless rubber, as for the "taco's" the way fatboy described them was right on. Bleah

You can get a decent Whopper Jr. With lettuce, tomato, and all the fixings on a halfway decent bun, with a fairly good amount of sh..er..meat, for(usually) 99 cents! You go to McDonalds and they toss you a dripping-with-grease double cheeseburger with kechup and pickles and charge you the same. I'd go for BK any day before McD's...besides, BK shakes rock. 😎
 
I thought the homestyle (or whatever it was) looked OK, but thanks for the warning!!

I still get grossed out in the BK backporch commercial where that guy is chomping away extolling the virtues of the burger and holds it out to the 'interviewer' & says "here, wanna try a bite?" BLECH, yeah thanks I'd love to taste a little of your saliva-laden half-eaten barfburger, thanks for asking 😛

mcdonalds = 100% beef, so even if you get "less" atleast its real
bk = microwaved burgers filled with meat + a healthy chunk of filler.


i do however like bk's fries better though. they are more consistently crunchy hehe
 
Nah man... CHECKERS ROCKS!!!

Their current 2 for $3 special is cool!! 2 Big Bufords or 2 Big Chickens!! MMMMMmmmm

I can go for a Big Buford now!!

And NOTHING beats their Chili-Cheese Spicy Fries!!
 
I had one yesterday, and that was the nastiest burger I have ever eatin!!!!

Best deal up until recently were the $.99 Super Stars from Carl's Jr...until they jacked the price up to $1.39 or whatever the hell it is nowadays. Their "spicy" chicken sandwiches are still $.99, but kinda small.
 
Someone told the the Jack tacos don't have meat but rather some soy product. :Q

My favs: Classic Single from Wendy's, Famous Star from Carl's, Western Bacon Cheesburger from Carl's.
 
I had the "Homestyle" griller yesterday. It wasn't horrible but certainly not worth the price because they are a actually pretty small. I usually don't like BK much and I think their fries suck. Carl's Jr., Wendy's, and In-N-Out are much better.

I had one of them the other week... it wasnt terrible, but I'm not gonna order one again... I'll just git me some chicken.
 
A few months ago I got food poisoning from BK like you would not believe!!! I was seriously on the toilet for 4 days straight. I will NEVER eat anything from BK ever again. Evahh!!!

Just seeing the commercials on TV can sometimes make me wretch and gag..... horrible!

I don't know what's wrong with you people. I, personally, find BK the best fast food burger around here. The Grillers are great! Unfortunately I can't spend $6 on a combo all the time, but I tried it and it was excellent.

For those that claim to know what's in all the fast food "meat", how do you know this? Did you have it analyzed or something?

I will not even eat at a MCD's, unless it's breakfast. The rest of their food sucks. Their meat has no flavor, artificial or otherwise.

Yea, I agree, that particular sandwich was not good at all.

But the sourdough burger, the Shrek one, that was GREAT. The Shaq one was okay, but the Shrek one was still the best. And their rodeo burgers are awesome, they had discontinued them for awhile and I was disappointed, but now they're back. I don't care for the Whopper ... but a nice fresh triple-cheeseburger is AWESOME. I don't know what it is about the triple, but since it's always made fresh, and the cheese get's melted between the patties, and it's juicy... yumm..... oh man, now I'm drooling, and I just started a 7 day fast today. 🙁

Are you kidding??? Please tell me your kidding??? Not only is the service and McDonalds horrible, but their buns are made out of plastic and their meat is made out of cardboard. BK has great tasting meat, nice flame-grilled flavor, and when you chew it, it's like chewing real hamburger... McD's hamburger doesn't chew, it rips away like it was stitched together leftover animal parts

I agree that McDonald's isn't the best (I do eat it every once in awhile), but I don't really compare it to other fastfood places. Their stuff is more on par with Castleburgers, I'd say.

As for BK, I agree that their meat is much better, but everything else is terrible. Their lettuce is never crisp, buns are soggy, they put way too much mayo on their sandwiches, their fries are absolutely disgusting, and the onion rings are crap.

I'd say of the big three (McD's, BK, Wendy's), Wendy's is the champ, bar none.
