Alright this is perhaps one of the strangest problems I've ever run across on a computer, I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in a good direction to help me solve the problem.
Recently upgraded my computer, new motherboard, new CPU, new Video card etc... Runs like a champ except for one bizarre issue that has arisen with my duel monitors.
Now picture if you will a 21" CRT in front of me and to the left of it, rotated in portrait mode an LCD monitor for browsing the internet with ease. This setup used to work fine in Vista and with my 6800 GT.
Now with XP and my new 8600 GT, I have setup to use dualview which I had before. What's strange is, whenever I move my mouse cursor to the LCD the mouse cursor still thinks that it is in landscape mode. It also is somehow 'out of calibration', meaning that in order to click on a button or a link or anything, I have to hover the mouse cursor about 1/4" to 1/2" to the right of what I want to select so that it focuses on it.
If I switch my LCD back to standard landscape mode, and un-rotate it in the nvdia display, my mouse cursor is how it should be, but the 'focus' problem still exists. It's really annoying to try clicking on a link and have to guess where to put my mouse cursor in order to click on something.
I've tried the following solutions:
-Disconnecting my KVM switch I was using and plugged directly into the PC.
-Updating to different versions of Nvidia Drivers.
-Throwing on a different LCD monitor.
-Loading up Logitech Setpoint drivers/software rather than using the default windows ones.
If someone wouldn't mind bouncing some ideas back around I would appreciate it, it's incredibly annoying.
Thanks so much in advance for your help!
