This situation is messed up. Lady kills her kids, claims she was crazy, gets more kids sent to her?

Exactly, which is why I think they should add a "guilty and insane" or perhaps a "criminally insane" designation. Your punishment and rehabilitation would follow a different path than someone who simply committed murder, but you can't just spend a few years in therapy and then act like nothing happened.

I can see where the judge is coming from, with the mental institute giving her no restrictions. But now with her psychiatrist raising concern I think it's time to give the mom full custody.
