I guess those little stuffed rags are still a good investment. You'ld think folks would have tired of them by now?

LMAO! I e-mailed this to a group of friends and here is how one of them responded:

If those were legit he got screwed bad....4 of those in that lot were extremely rare and just by themselves were worth and estimated (get a load of this) $10,000

I'm not sure if I should be shocked because the guy got screwed in his selling or because my friend knows this or both! 🙂

I still got a few in a box somewhere.... the whole McDonalds collection I think.... my wife bought them.... I sorta recall my kids having gotten hold of a few....

Personally, if it were me, it would have been well worth the monetary loss to keep from having to know anything about those beanie baby thingies.

I am not suprised it got that high. I remember when my sister started collecting these things about 6 years ago, and even then it was literally impossible to get the few that he has listed as being "valuable" according to another ebayer.

Oh and that last part is hillarious.

I have a box of these things that my ex wife left behind also. Didn't know they sold for so much still. I had them out at a yard sale not too long ago and couldn't sell a single one. He11, I couldn't give these things away!

"Final Notice and Disclaimer: I know nothing about these stuffed Beanie Babies. I offer no proof of anything. It is a stuffed animal, get over it! I don't think my ex-wife was in the Black Market Beanie Trade..but then again, I didn't know she was having an affair either! Thus no gauruntees! All have theior little Heart Shaped tags on their ears. "

LOL

Check out the pics for Humphrey and Peanut straight off of Ty's website.

EDIT: Web the spider is real, you can tell by the tag...

What kind of crack rock have you been puffin on? His stuff does not look definitely fake. Humphrey the Camel is lying down right in the middle of the pile. Peanut the Elephant is in the case at the back. Peanut by HIMSELF alone is worth $860...
I would bet that the whole pile is real, and worth thousands...

How do you base your accusation?

I made thousands of dollars buying and selling Beanies, back in the 90's. I know a little bit about them...

LOL Unreal, i can't believe there are actually fakes out there, and that these thigns actually go for this much. But what a great auction.
