nice looking sub mini tower. the horizontal m/b really appeals to me.

not sure how easy/hard the build would be.

I'd like to see one in person as it's hard to tell build quality from images but it does look pretty flexible for a mini-itx case. I like the mb orientation as it leaves room for a decent cooling solution. I'm debating on downsizing my rig to mini-itx or m-atx and this case looks to be the best option for mini-itx so far without going to a m-atx case.
 
where exactly are you getting that impression from? since their website, the anand review, the video review, and newegg preorder page says mini itx.

mini itx only has 1 expansion slot. this case has 2. therefore, it's mini-dtx.

Indeed, technically it is miniDTX. It is being marketed as ITX because it is meant to house single expansion slot boards with dual-slot graphics. 😛
