For those who said you can't mine still are wrong. You can still mine any scrypt coin, but I'd advise against unless you get free/stolen electricity.
I bought one bitcoin a couple months ago for around $85. Nice to see it's so high right now.
You guys think I should sell it and then buy more when the price comes back down?
All these bitcoins and no drugs to buy with them.
I do not understand the appeal of this bitcoin shit.
Its everywhere now.
i should probably sell a few coins and buy a r9 290x for my next rig.
my 5870 was probably the most profitable room heater ever that winter.
is it true you can make millions easy from this?
How much money did you actually "make", utilities included? I would've thought it's so commoditized at this point you can't make any money.
Bitcoin is a very interesting concept. I can't wait to see what will become of it in the future. Too bad most people are completely against it or completely in favor of it, so any discussion of Bitcoin always turns into a verbal fight.
I doubt millions but with a big upfront investment you can make decent money from what I hear. You also have to understand the market well so you know when to convert to dollar.
Thread inspired me to check my massive litecoin holdings (~ 15 LTC, a little over $30) to see if I could actually withdraw it. Transferred it to BTC-E and it's sitting there now in USD. But I'm looking at the methods of withdrawal and don't see any that operate in the U.S. and have a minimum low enough. Do I just have to wait until it's a higher balance, or is there an option I missed? Or do I just use another exchange?
Don't need cash necessarily, will take prepaid card.
