BitchinFast 3D 2000

Don't know if any of you old timers remember this but there was a video card in the works that would have combined a 3dfx, ATi and S3 chipset. It was called the BitchinFast 3D 2000.

It was demoed in a gaming magazine, I think it was maximum PC.

Anyways some one on YouTube managed to track a prototype down:

Pretty amazing for late 90s early 00s tech.

Edit: found a picture of it. Actually has 5 different video chips on it working together in some way

wtf lol

seriously sometimes I see stuff like that and I feel like I have walked right into the twilight zone (speaking of old timers) 😀

LOL

I saw that fake page back in the day.

The card doesn't exist.

the clues are: Quake 11, 12 and 13. not to mention the Bungholio benchmark or the LMNOPRAM.

425 Bungholio Marks do not lie, non believers.
I took out a second mortgage back in the day to buy my BitchinFast, and I've been living la video loca ever since. I'd sell my car before my BitchinFast!

I remember this and still have a copy of the magazine somewhere. 😀 It's hard to believe we had 5 video card companies in the mix back then, and each had some unique features.

That video was fantastic. Excellently done. I started laughing out loud when the horns came out and blew confetti.

I really want to know how that card was made, it was a great job.

Admit it, you got nostalgia for your pair of them.

As soon as I read the title I said "256MB of LMNOPRAM!". I have no idea how I remember this from back in the day or what crucial piece of information could have been stored there and is now lost to the sands of time...

The bitchinfast was great but it was soon supplanted by NV FX 5800Ultra, especially for yard work.
