My best download speed in the history of my torrent downloading is probably about 80kbs. Somehow my upload is almost always double that of my download, despite the fact that my upload speed is capped at 30kbs by the cable company. From beginning to end my upload is always faster, it's freakin' annoying.

The fastest I ever get is around 185 kb/s ... But then again, it is one hell of a lot better than most people around here. If I really want something fast, I need to go to my wife's work, where they've got a direct fiber connect to something called the SuperNet ... where I can triple or quadruple that speed ... That is my fee for doing some maintenance on their systems.
