Last night, the pc in my sig worked great, running just like it should. I powered off abouy 8:30, and it stayed off until 4:30 this afternoon. I come home, try to turn it on, and no go. No fans, nothing. The green power light on the board is on, and I unplugged it long enough to reset the power supply, but it still didnt work. I let it sit for about a half hour, so I could read some posts on AT about similar problems hoping to find an answer. I found some combination of moves that worked for others with Asus boards, so I went to try them, but out of curiousity, hit the power button again. This time the fans all powered up, spun up the drives and everything. But I get NO video. The reset switch doesn't appear to work, and it doesn't act like it's trying to boot even. It's sitting again, I'm going to give it another try and hope for the best.
But if it turns on, I'm going to worry. Is this the beginning of a power systme failure? I have clean power here, ran lots of PCs in the past. No bad weather recently, so thats not it. Should I order a new power supply and call the company I bought this one from and try and return it? What's your guys take on this situation?
