my wife want's to buy me a birthday present. i'm thinkin win 2k. i have 3 pc's and xp requires a reg for each one. i'm constantly changing parts out so xp would be a pain in the b--t. can i run a 2k upgrade on all 3 systems for personal use? tia, jer

Practically - yes you can run the 2000 upgrade on as many machines as you like.

What OS are the PCs currently running?

i'm currently running win98 1e.

If I'm not mistaken, WinXP Professional can be put on several machines without requiring regestration each time.
