When my GF got on BC she gained weight right away, only like 10 lbs, and it's been the same since. That was about 1.5 years ago.

she was on it, then got very upset when she gained 10+lbs and couldn't work it off... she's short 5'2.. and that 10lb made a huge difference.. I told her it didnt bother me.. but she said she didnt like it at all

I guess it depends on the girl and the medicine. My fiance has been taking a pill for the past year or so and has not gained any noticable weight. Granted she goes to the gym three times a week and eats healthy

I think its different for different women. My fiance said she gained a ton of weight while on the shot, but the pill she didn't. I guess when she discontinued the shot she lost the weight.

I don't know much about the patch, she says she wants to try it but I don't see any reason to switch from a BC method that works and doesn't have any serious side effects to one that might.
