Well I had loads of fun as well. I hope we can have meets in the future and I enjoyed meeting everyone. Scarpozzi, Ulfwald, Mrs. Ulfwald, Skoorb, Aves2K, TallGeese, gtaudiofile, MrsSkoorb, Elfenix, Ohtwell. Thanks for everyone stopping by and those who drove down. I really enjoyed things and I hope all of you did too! Hope we can have more meets.

Think quality, not quantity! There must be some decent microbrewers near you (actually, I seem to recall there is a pretty good brewpub in Montgomery, where I have spent some time over the years).

40's are illegal in Alabama.. I'm in Huntsville-have to take the trip to TN to pick em up. Also all of Alabama except Jefferson County (Bham), and city of Auburn and one or two other towns its illegal to buy beer on Sundays..a few towns (Huntsville, etc) allow private clubs to allow on-premesis drinking on Sunday, otherwise its off to one of the neighboring states.. Here in north Alabama, about half of the counties here are dry.. One town, Hartselle, its illegal to even possess alcohol. They just had a big fuss in the news about it, people there were complaining, then they had a wet-dry vote and they still voted dry.. What numbskulls

It's illegal here in Louisiana to buy beer on Sunday's. I'm not sure if that is every parish, or just here, but I have sworn to fight the law to the death.
 
The Birmingham meet was a success! I just got back from it. Thanks again, Millennium, for hosting. It was great to put some faces to the names I've grown to like here!

Now comes the big question: do I post PICS of ohtwell and MrsSkoorb? 😉

Yeah we had a good time - and I do believe that Elfenix got a shot of the fridge so if that's the case he can post it. He has a relaxing 900 mile drive home today to Texas :Q

Now Tallgeese will have to live through not only Alabama losing, but the fact that I beat his ass on Xbox in Mechassault!!
