I don't know whether to laugh, for feel forry for the guy - so I'll do both at the same time. I don't think he was going that fast, because it didn't kill him. He's just sitting on the ground, either in shock or something's broken.

 + :(

Do not let him suffer, approach him on foot, if he does not fly off, either put him out of his misery or take him to the vet.

At my parents house their is one window that birds fly into constantly. They usually die from the impact and then drop into the flower garden right under the window. Then my mom makes me go pick them out and throw them into the garbage. :frown:

He's flown off already - I just think flying into the window knocked him off his feet :p BTW - welcome back Roger (if it is indeed you - why not just activate your old account? )

If it flew off, he's most likely fine. The biggest issue from hitting windows is a broken neck, which is obviously fatal.

Did it leave an imprint? A couple times a month, my mother rings me to tell me that birds flew into her window again... kinda funny actually... to see a dusting of feathers in the shape of a bird.. you can almost figure out what they might ahve been thinking.. :D

One time at my old work we had a duck/goose print on the window, you could see the entire body/neck...Birds hit the windows all the time at that place.

I saw a mantis with one "arm" and one wing. Didn't know whether to kill it or not.
