Alright, i just got this new computer from cpusolutions.com. Here is the configuration:
Biostar NF4ST-A9 socket 939 motherboard
AMD 3200+ w/ stock heating
1 gig of name brand memory (they didnt say who it was)
250 gig WD sata hard drive
evga 6600 256 mb video card
onboard audio (Realtek AC'97 codec)
Now I have a problem. When i went to play GTA: Vice City, it read no sound device. So I exited the game and went to update the drivers. Well for some stupid reason, i deleted the old drivers and then i installed the new ones thinking everything should work.......WRONG!!!!!!
I get no sound whatsoever from windows, media player, or any games, so any help i can get from someone would be appreciative before i go out and buy a pci sound card and see if that works because right now i really don't have any cash.............
