even without the rebate, $60 shipped is not a bad price for a dual-channel nforce2 400 board...

feature-wise I would probably lean towards the Shuttle AN35N-Ultra though, but it's close...

i bought mine from newegg back in august, and just received my rebate. not the fastest in handling rebates, but atleast i got it. i noticed newegg has it for 68-15=53 w/ no shipping. i would definately recommend this board to anybody, good stable board. been running 2 mos without any probs. xp2000/768MB @ stock speeds

AMD Biotstar Boards @ Newegg

Just thought i would post an update. I got my mobo from ewiz in a timely fashion (took about 3 days not counting the weekend) It was well packaged and clearly new in the box. One note though, their web page was not updating propery and it appeared initally that it had not shipped. A phone call cleared that up and he gave me a shipping number for fedex which showed it to be enroute. I would definately shop from them again. I have sent the rebate in, so begins the waiting...The board however is quite nice, but all of the comments are true about the documentation. It's poop! A great score for $45, me thinks.

Does this mobo automatically unlock the CPU to change the multipliers in the bios ?

Got the board today from eWiz and it is infact the PRO version... waiting on my chip and HSF then onto the new rig.

Someone above asked about overclocking... according to many sites, this is one of the best boards for overclocking Athlon XPs.

The guys who got the motherboard,

Did you get the USB bracket and the StudioFun CD with this motherboard? Most Websites (including eWiz) show it as optional.

I got the USB but no studio fun. Not sure I care about it after reading more about it. Funny thing tho. I never was able to get that overclocking application to work. Shows info about the system, but only allows voltage adjustments, no fsb or clock. Can do that through bios so its no big deal, just odd.

Picked one up from ewiz - couldn't get it stable with either a new 1700+ XP or a 950 Duron chip. Tried several sticks of RAM and a couple of video cards. No dice. Nice looking board - bad CPU position. Probably a lemon for me. Don't know which to try next. Last board was an ECS K7S5A - two + years on it, no probs.

I'll try to let you know how the RMA goes with ewiz. I have an RMA #
