Title says it all. I have reviewed the rebate and dont find that it matters where the purchase is made. Looks good to me as I am in the market for a budget nforce 2 mobo. Any comments on the board would be very welcome because I think i will pull the trigger on this one unless someone talks me out of it! rebate link

I knew I should have bought it when it said 60.04!!!! They changed the price! Oh well, still a decent deal, just maybe not the best. Wait a minute, i followed this link and then selected the ewiz site and i came up as 60.04 again. So, if thats right, then it still works out to 45.04. Good deal??

Well, no one tried to talk me out of it, so fired off the order! $60.04 at eWiz by following the link. $15 rebate already printed. $45.04. I hope it turns out to be a good board.

Hopefully I will be able to comment on eWiz in about 4 to 5 days. I will let you know if you want. I saw the computer geeks sale and nearly bought it from them but, if everything works out, 3 bucks is still 3 bucks. lol. We will see.

I bought this board and have nothing bad to say about it. got it from the geeks for around $70 shipped out the door - $15 mir = $55. It has not crashed once and is running 200 fsb w/ my Tbred B. It automatically unlocks these chips (not all Nforce boards do, apparently).

These boards report higher than actual temps (ambient and CPU), so the temps reported are good for relative difference, at best. Biostar appears to be in no hurry to fix this known issue, but who really cares, I guess.

my advice, fwiw: don't install any of the crap (watchdog, or whatever) that comes with this mobo aside from the Nforce drivers. Also, be advised that some (incl. me) have had trouble w/ the most recent nForce IDE drivers from NVidia (2.45). Also, get the most recent bios (630)

Just order it from MWave for $60.03 shipped. Great price for a decent motherboard. Especially after $15 rebate.

Thanks Bluebeard1!

Hmmm seems like its gone from Ewiz.com! Price Grabber link to ewiz gives item not found.
Search on ewiz also gives item not found. Looks like Mwave is only one left at $60 before
rebate!

Mwave wants over $8 for shipping making the final cost (before rebate) $69.84 ($61.48 + $8.36). Go to GameVe instead and get it for $51 (AR) shipped. Link is in this thread.

The computer geeks board has a -N on the end of the part no.. The rebate dosen't state that. Are you sure this board qualify's for thew rebate?

I ordered mine from eWiz, as stated above. When I was first considering Geeks, they had the proper board for the rebate for sale. If it doesnt say M7NCD-P (pro) then spend a buck or two more and find one that does. The rebate is very specific about the board. Last I checked, Newegg still had them, maybe a few others. Good luck

CRAP!!! I ordered and received the wrong motherboard. Completely my fault. Got the non-pro version. didn't notice the "P" for Pro

So no rebate and spent more ($9) and got less (no 3rd DDR slot or Double DDR capability). Damn that was dumb. Only good thing is now I don't have to bother filling out the rebate. :-(

Sorry had to vent.

If you go through the link at the top, it is 60.04 (before rebate)... I printed out the specs (from their site) as well as the invoice... if they overcharge me, I will fax to my credit card company and get money back... if they don't send me the PRO version, I will fax the specs to them and tell them to take it back with FULL reimbursement or dispute charge w/ credit card company... :)

Now there is a $5 rebate on Ewiz if you do a review on the board. But it requires original upc cutout. I'll take the 15.

Joe that is for the non Pro version. No rebate on that. The Pro version from them is $66.
